2013 BMW M6 unofficially confirmed for public debut in Geneva

The long-awaited BMW M6 (F12) is that their media release next month. No sources have been identified, but is also expected to make its public debut shortly after the Geneva Motor Show in early March. The M6 is believed to be getting a sportier suspension, carbon ceramic brakes and lightweight alloy wheels, while the same 4.4-liter V8 engine gives the M5 convertible coupe and 560 PS (412 kW / hp 552) and 680 nm (502 lb.-ft.) of torque coupled to a 7-speed M DCT transmission system. According to sources, will enable the M6 to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100kph) in 4.2 seconds. Assuming we are talking about the coupe, this is 0.2 seconds faster than its predecessor and suggests that the convertible get a time of about 4.5 seconds.
